The Chandigarh Police District Crime Cell (DCC) has arrested four individuals linked to an international drug cartel, recovering over 200 grams of heroin, 324 grams of charas, a car, and a motorcycle in three separate cases.

In the first case, the DCC arrested Mandeep Singh, alias Arsh, a 22-year-old student from Ferozepur, recovering 99.55 grams of heroin and a motorcycle. During interrogation, Mandeep revealed that he sourced drugs from Jashanpreet (22) of Fazilka, who obtained consignments from Kirti, a supplier with alleged connections in Pakistan, smuggling narcotics using drones.

In the second case, registered on September 15, authorities arrested Maninderjit (32) of Amritsar, recovering 101.68 grams of heroin and a car. Maninderjit disclosed that his supplier had links to handlers in Pakistan.

In a separate operation, Ruma Devi (43) of Kullu was apprehended near a railway crossing at Kishangarh with 324 grams of charas in her possession.

These arrests highlight the DCC’s continued efforts to disrupt international drug networks operating in northern India.
