JOHN DAY, OR – A 39-year-old Lakeview man, Chance Joseph Clause, was arrested in John Day on a theft charge following an investigation by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest occurred Tuesday afternoon after officers responded to a follow-up investigation on South Canyon Boulevard.
At approximately 12:21 p.m., Clause was taken into custody for Theft in the Second Degree. Authorities have not released additional details regarding the incident or the circumstances surrounding his arrest.
