Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of Chad White, 38, a former Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office employee, on child molestation charges.
White was first arrested last week in Terrebonne Parish after investigators discovered he had shown nude images of a woman to others without her consent. Following his termination from the TPSO, he was booked on nonconsensual disclosure of a private image and released on $50,000 bail.
During the investigation, detectives uncovered allegations of child molestation dating back over a decade in Lafourche Parish. The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office referred this part of the case to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, who secured an arrest warrant.
On June 3, LPSO detectives arrested White in Lafourche Parish. He was booked at the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on one count of molestation of a juvenile. Bail is set at $250,000.
