INWOOD, Iowa — A 45-year-old Inwood man, Chad Ray Stubbe, was arrested around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, following a traffic stop that led to multiple drug and alcohol-related charges, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
Stubbe was pulled over while driving a 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser on the 300 block of Main Street in Inwood. During the stop, deputies observed bloodshot and watery eyes, along with the odor of alcohol and marijuana coming from Stubbe.
According to the incident report, Stubbe admitted to both drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana earlier that evening.
A search of his vehicle uncovered:
A container of marijuana
Two marijuana pipes
Wooden dugouts commonly used to store drug paraphernalia
Stubbe now faces the following charges:
First-offense Operating While Under the Influence (OWI)
Second-offense Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was taken into custody without incident.
