SMYRNA, Ga. — Carolyn L. Hooke, 46, of Cartersville, has been accused of stealing at least 26 checks from her employer, Franks Chiropractic Center, totaling approximately $98,000.
According to an arrest warrant issued by the Smyrna Police Department, the alleged thefts occurred between October 2, 2024, and October 21, 2025. Hooke is accused of depositing the stolen checks into her own account.
Authorities are investigating the matter further, and no additional details about charges or court dates were immediately released.
