CARTERET COUNTY, N.C. – A major Carteret County drug bust resulted in the arrest of two Morehead City residents, following the execution of a search warrant on Morris Road, just outside city limits.
News 12 was granted access to ride along with Sheriff ASA Buck, providing an inside look at how county narcotics operations are conducted.
Sheriff Buck confirmed that methamphetamine and cocaine were found at the residence. Arrested at the scene were Jonathan Tedder, 51, and Jenny Baker, 56. Both face multiple felony charges related to the sale, delivery, and possession of controlled substances.
“We’ve had over 100 active drug dealers in Carteret County over the past year,” said Buck. “This is a top priority for our department, and these arrests are part of our continued push to disrupt local drug trafficking.”
