ATHENS — Carlos Terrell Wise, 32, was arrested at his home in a western Athens-Clarke County subdivision following an investigation by the Northeast Georgia Regional Drug Task Force.
Court records indicate that on February 4, officers executing a search warrant at Wise’s Stonehenge Way residence discovered 521 grams of methamphetamine, a large quantity of marijuana, and a .380-caliber pistol.
Wise was booked into the county jail on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He remains in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for March 4.
