Carl Coffelt Jr. Sentenced to 35 Years for Meth

Grayson County man convicted of meth possession

GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas — A Grayson County man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison after being convicted on drug charges.

Carl Coffelt Jr., 47, was found guilty of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. Police reported that Coffelt, who has a prior criminal history, was arrested in possession of more than 51 grams of meth.

The sentence was handed down Tuesday, reflecting the severity of the offense and Coffelt’s criminal record.
