FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (7News) — A 25-year-old D.C. man, Cambric Hudson, was arrested Saturday after allegedly assaulting a deputy during a disturbance at a Wing Stop restaurant in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), Hudson became loud and aggressive with staff at the South Gateway Drive location. Deputies were called to de-escalate the situation, but Hudson remained combative and showed signs of intoxication, prompting officers to detain him.
As deputies attempted to take Hudson into custody, he resisted arrest and struck one of them. The deputy sustained only minor injuries, officials reported.
Hudson was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, public intoxication, and obstruction of justice. He was booked into the Rappahannock Regional Jail with a secured bond set at $2,500.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, but no further injuries were reported in the incident.
