HOLLY SPRINGS, Ga. — Calvin T. Jones, an employee at the Holly Springs service center, has been arrested for allegedly stealing cash and gift cards from mail dropped off at the facility.

According to the Holly Springs Police Department, Jones was taken into custody last week after investigators worked alongside U.S. Postal Inspectors to uncover the scheme. Authorities say Jones opened mail at the service center multiple times, removing money and gift cards.

He is now facing charges of theft by taking and exploitation of an elder, indicating that some victims may have been elderly individuals.

Police did not disclose how much money was stolen or how long the activity had been occurring. The investigation remains ongoing.
