
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) — A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a series of break-ins and thefts across Columbus.
On September 15, 20-year-old Caleb Lang was taken into custody for his involvement in 26 cases tied to numerous break-ins, according to the Columbus Police Department.
Lang faces multiple charges, including:
49 counts of entering an automobile
4 counts of theft by taking a motor vehicle
4 counts of financial transaction card theft
Financial transaction card fraud
Authorities say the investigation involves a total of 48 victims.
Lang appeared in recorder’s court on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to all charges. The case was bound over to superior court for further proceedings.
