YANKTON, S.D. — A Yankton man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison following his conviction on multiple felony drug charges.
Calahan Hale Stark, 31, was previously convicted of Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances and Possession of Unauthorized Articles in Jail.
The case arose after authorities discovered Stark in possession of over 300 fentanyl pills and 107 grams of cocaine. While incarcerated in the Yankton County Jail, he also smuggled over 7 grams of ketamine into the facility.
A search of his residence uncovered a wide array of controlled substances, including:
365 fentanyl pills
107.81 grams of cocaine
7.74 grams of methamphetamine
7.55 grams of ketamine
5.14 grams of psilocin-containing plant material
Various prescription pills including Zolpidem, Hydrocodone, Tramadol, Amphetamine, Isotonitazene, and Oxycodone

All sentences will run concurrently, resulting in 20 years total incarceration.
