Charlotte, NC – A massive street takeover involving 400 cars turned violent last weekend, leading to a bystander being shot and multiple arrests, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

🚨 The shooting occurred near University City Boulevard/Neal Road when multiple shots were fired as participants moved to a new location. A bystander was hit in the abdomen but was not involved in the event.

🔸 Cortavian Winston (21) – Street takeover participation, fleeing, resisting arrest
🔸 Ki’Juan Thompson (23) – Street takeover participation, fleeing, resisting arrest, hit-and-run
