Arbaaz and Taimoor Butt, the owners of the popular mobile shop Shandar Mobiles, were arrested in Jhelum for allegedly defrauding a customer. Arbaaz Butt, who had gained significant attention on TikTok for showcasing his lavish lifestyle, was apprehended along with his brother after accusations of fraudulent activity surfaced.

The complaint, lodged at the City Police Station, claims that Shandar Mobiles sold a faulty Apple iPhone to a customer, Syed Ibrar Shah, for Rs. 300,000. When Ibrar attempted to return the defective phone on June 25, the Butt brothers allegedly deceived him by keeping both the faulty phone and the refund receipt.

Following the complaint, the police filed an FIR under relevant sections of theft and fraud as outlined in the Pakistan Penal Code. The Butt brothers were subsequently presented in court, where they were granted a four-day physical remand for further investigation.

Shandar Mobiles, known for attracting a young clientele due to its reputation for offering inexpensive iPhones, is now at the center of a scandal that has sparked outrage among customers who felt misled.
