West Fargo, N.D. — Two individuals were arrested Monday night after West Fargo police discovered a significant amount of narcotics during a routine traffic stop.
According to authorities, officers stopped a vehicle near Second Street and 9½ Avenue West around 10:30 p.m. on September 22. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of over five grams of fentanyl, 14 M30 pills suspected of containing fentanyl, and tinfoil with burnt residue, commonly associated with drug use.
The driver, Bryan Paridon, 36, who has no fixed address, was charged with:
Possession of fentanyl
Possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility
Possession of drug paraphernalia
The passenger, Marguerite Nelson, 41, of Fargo, faces charges of:
Possession with intent to deliver
Possession of drug paraphernalia
All charges filed are felonies, and both individuals were taken into custody following the stop. The case remains under investigation.
