Bryan Gomez Arrested for Napa County Murder Case

22-year-old held without bail in deadly shooting

NAPA, Calif. — Napa County authorities arrested 22-year-old Bryan Alexis De Paz Gomez on Monday afternoon on suspicion of murder in connection to a fatal shooting over the weekend.

According to the Napa County Sheriff’s Department, Gomez, a Vallejo resident, was taken into custody around 2 p.m. following the discovery of a man with multiple gunshot wounds on the side of Monticello Road.

The victim, identified as 20-year-old Salvador De Jesus Castillo-Hernandez of Concord, was found deceased by authorities shortly after 9:50 a.m. Sunday.

Details surrounding the shooting, including the motive, have not been released by investigators.

Gomez was booked into Napa County Jail on murder charges and is currently being held without bail.
