JONESBORO, Ark. — A Brookland man was arrested after authorities said he fraudulently used a business loyalty rewards system to obtain gift cards and merchandise.
Duel Landon Moss, 27, was taken into custody on suspicion of computer fraud, a Class D felony, and theft. He was later released on his own recognizance by Judge Skip Mooney and is scheduled to return to court on March 20.
According to the Jonesboro Police Department, officers responded on February 17, 2026, to a business on East Johnson Avenue reporting theft. The complainant alleged that a former employee had been manipulating the company’s loyalty rewards system by applying his personal account to customer purchases.
Loss prevention investigators prepared a detailed report, showing that Moss allegedly used his loyalty account on completed customer transactions and later claimed the points for himself. Investigators reported that Moss allegedly collected points from 914 transactions between September 2025 and his termination in February 2026.
Police say Moss redeemed the points for 36 free items valued at $129.60, 17 gift cards totaling $135, and discounts on personal purchases totaling $99.58. The total value of stolen items allegedly reached $364.18.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
