Stoughton, Mass. — Stoughton Police have issued an arrest warrant for Elvis Andrade, a 32-year-old Brockton man, in connection with a series of motor vehicle break-ins, vehicle thefts, and credit card fraud. Andrade faces several charges, including larceny, receiving stolen property, and multiple counts of breaking and entering.
The investigation began on December 4, 2023, when police received reports of vehicle break-ins at an apartment complex on Buckley Road. In subsequent reports, victims discovered their wallets stolen and debit cards used at various stores in Brockton. Surveillance footage from a CVS and Speedway showed a man wearing Grinch pajamas using the stolen cards.
Stoughton Police later connected Andrade to the crimes, which included a car theft on December 1, additional break-ins on December 4, and another theft on December 9. On December 11, Andrade’s name was confirmed as the primary suspect. Police also found that he was wanted on five active arrest warrants.

Eight counts of Breaking and Entering a Vehicle During the Daytime
Four counts of Larceny Under $1,200
Two counts of Improper Use of a Credit Card Under $1,200
Malicious Destruction of Property Under $1,200
