Brock Logan Moretz, a 28-year-old resident of Hickory, has been arrested by Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies following a 911 call in the Bethlehem community on Wednesday, April 23.
Moretz faces one felony charge of assault by strangulation and two counts of false imprisonment. Authorities responded swiftly to the emergency call and took Moretz into custody at the scene.
At the time of this report, Moretz is no longer listed as an inmate in the Alexander County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in District Court on Monday, April 28, in Taylorsville.
