MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) – Brittney Scott, 28, a Brooklyn woman, has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of thefts targeting men she allegedly met during nights out in Miami Beach. Scott faces multiple felony charges, including burglary with assault or battery and grand theft, following three incidents in 2023 and 2024 that resulted in stolen jewelry, including Rolex watches, as well as credit cards.
The first theft took place on June 17, 2023, when a man reported meeting Scott at a bar in Miami Beach and inviting her back to his apartment at 121 NE 34th Street. After passing out during their drinks, the victim woke up to find his $14,000 Rolex and credit cards missing. Police identified Scott through facial recognition and a photo lineup after the victim had taken a photograph of her earlier.
In a second case from October 20, 2024, another victim met Scott at the Saxony bar in South Beach and brought her back to his residence on NW 27th Street. After suffering a head injury from a wine bottle, the victim discovered his Rolex, wallet, and credit cards were stolen. Surveillance footage later showed Scott using the victim’s credit cards at Sawgrass Mills mall.
A third incident occurred on November 9, 2024, when Scott allegedly stole a $13,000 Rolex and a $1,400 iPhone from a man she met in South Beach and brought back to his apartment at 1111 SW 1st Avenue. The victim later identified Scott in a photo lineup.
Scott was arrested on Tuesday near NW 7th Avenue and 81st Street. During a recorded interview, she reportedly claimed that she did not recall the incidents. The investigation is ongoing, and Scott remains charged with multiple theft-related felonies.
