Brittany Shea Rector Charged in Alexander County Drug Bust

Over 50 grams of meth seized during NC investigation

TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. – Brittany Shea Rector, 38, of Taylorsville, was arrested by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers following a coordinated drug investigation. She faces multiple felony charges, including trafficking methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, and possession of methamphetamine.

On Thursday, July 10, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, working in partnership with North Carolina Probation and Parole, executed a drug investigation at a local residence. Authorities reportedly seized approximately 52.7 grams of methamphetamine during the operation.

Rector was taken into custody and booked at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond. She was scheduled for her first appearance in Alexander County District Court on Monday, July 14.
