Two people are in jail following a drug raid in Richmond, Indiana, where police uncovered large quantities of heroin, methamphetamine, and cocaine, along with a firearm.
Authorities were searching for 28-year-old Brittany Elsea, who had an active warrant for theft and drug possession. She was found at a house in the 100 block of Fort Wayne Avenue. Noticing signs of drug activity, officers obtained a search warrant for the property.
Inside, police seized over 93 grams of heroin, 38 grams of meth, 11 grams of cocaine, a firearm, and various illegal substances and drug paraphernalia.
Also present was 44-year-old Everett Cooper, who was allegedly in possession of cocaine at the time of his arrest.
Both suspects were booked into the Wayne County Jail. According to jail records, Elsea faces multiple charges, including firearm possession, meth possession, marijuana possession, possession of paraphernalia, and failure to appear. Cooper was charged with possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug.
The investigation remains ongoing.
