Brian Ogdenski Arrested for Credit Card Fraud in Canandaigua

Man charged with felony and misdemeanor for stolen card use

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — A Canandaigua man is facing felony and misdemeanor charges following an investigation into fraudulent credit card use.

Police arrested 27-year-old Brian Ogdenski on Tuesday, charging him with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, a felony, and Identity Theft in the Third Degree, a misdemeanor.

The charges relate to a report of fraudulent purchases made with a stolen credit card at the Tops supermarket in Canandaigua. Ogdenski admitted to possessing the stolen card and using it to make purchases.

He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
