A registered sex offender was arrested in Paragould, Arkansas after a traffic stop led police to allegedly discover narcotics and an unregistered social media account.
According to the Paragould Police Department, officers stopped a vehicle on March 8, 2026, driven by Brian Matthew Lamb, 39, after he reportedly failed to signal at least 100 feet before changing lanes.
During the stop, officers learned Lamb was under supervised imposition of sentence (SIS) and had a search waiver on file. A search of the vehicle and Lamb’s residence allegedly uncovered 1,028.9 grams of potpourri identified as a Schedule VI narcotic, along with 2.1 grams of hydrocodone (7.5 milligrams) and 8.6 grams of hydrocodone (10 milligrams), both classified as Schedule II narcotics.
Investigators also reported finding several baggies used for packaging the potpourri and two digital scales that reportedly contained residue from the substance.
While reviewing Lamb’s cellphone, officers said they discovered an active account on TikTok that had not been registered with the city’s sex offender coordinator, as required under reporting rules.
Lamb was arrested and faces multiple charges, including two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance with intent to deliver, and failure to comply with sex offender registration and reporting requirements, all of which include Class C felony counts.
Authorities noted that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
