Brian Ayala, Jimy Leiva Charged in Dallas Triple Murder

Two men arrested after fatal Dallas shooting incident

DALLAS, Texas — Authorities have arrested two men in connection with a triple homicide that occurred earlier this month in Dallas.

According to the Dallas Police Department, Brian Pineda Ayala, 23, and Jimy Caceres Leiva, 28, were taken into custody by the Texas Department of Public Safety in Houston. Both suspects are charged with Capital Murder of Multiple Persons.

The incident happened on October 5, 2025, around 5:50 a.m., when Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 3800 block of Bernal Drive.

Investigators said Pedro Lara Roa, 47, and Pedro Lara, 21, were found shot at the scene, while a third unidentified victim was discovered inside a vehicle. All three victims died from their injuries, confirmed Dallas Fire-Rescue.

The case remains under active investigation and is being documented under case number 143554-2025, police said.
