Brennen Frick, 3 Others Charged in Fayette County Drug Bust

Meth, marijuana seized during traffic stop and apartment search

FAYETTE COUNTY, Iowa —
Four people have been arrested and charged in connection with a Fayette County drug bust that occurred early on May 3.

At around 12:30 a.m., a Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 18, just outside West Union. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of distribution quantities of methamphetamine and marijuana.

The following individuals were arrested at the scene:

Brennen Frick, 28, was charged with:

Possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine

Two counts of possession of a controlled substance

Introducing contraband into a correctional facility

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Randy Johnson, 64, was charged with:

OWI (Operating While Intoxicated), second offense

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Karissa Krammerer, 41, was charged with:

Possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), first offense

Possession of drug paraphernalia

As part of the same investigation, deputies executed a search warrant at an apartment on East Elm Street in West Union, where they found additional meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

There, Hailey Plathe, 26, was arrested and charged with:

Possession of methamphetamine, first offense

Possession of marijuana, first offense

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Interference with official acts

Brennen Frick, who also lived at the apartment, was hit with two more charges of possession of a controlled substance.
