A Scioto County woman has been arrested following a drug investigation that led to the seizure of illegal narcotics.
Brandy Cottrell, 39, of Portsmouth, was taken into custody on Monday after deputies executed narcotics-related search warrants at both her home and business in Wheelersburg, according to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
During the searches, authorities recovered approximately 218 grams of suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine, along with digital scales and other items believed to be linked to drug trafficking.
Cottrell has been charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs. She was scheduled to appear for arraignment in Portsmouth Municipal Court on Tuesday morning.
