Brandy Benge & Tracie Shoemaker Arrested on Drug Charges

Alexander County Authorities Arrest Two for Fentanyl & Meth Possession

Taylorsville, NC – The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Taylorsville Police Department and North Carolina Probation and Parole, arrested two individuals on March 13 for drug-related offenses.

🔹 Brandy Diane Benge, 32, of Taylorsville, faces multiple felony charges:

Trafficking fentanyl
Manufacture, sell, and deliver fentanyl
Possession of cocaine
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Benge was placed under a $75,000 secured bond and has a first court appearance on March 17.

🔹 Tracie Michelle Shoemaker, 43, also of Taylorsville, was charged with:

Possession of methamphetamine
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Shoemaker was held without bond and will also appear in District Court on March 17.

Authorities continue to crack down on illegal drug activity in the region as investigations remain ongoing.
