The next day, on August 29, officers apprehended Yellarrious Thomas Crow, 29, also of Dallas, after allegedly witnessing him engage in hand-to-hand drug transactions on Meadow Street. “These arrests are the result of ongoing investigations and enforcement of drug laws in the Park Row neighborhood,” said Major Yancey Nelson, commander of the Southeast Patrol Division. “Our officers are in the area, visibly and covertly, working with intelligence gained through investigations and following up on concerns reported by the community.”
The crackdown is part of a broader initiative to curb drug trafficking and street-level distribution in high-crime areas of Dallas. Both suspects remain in custody pending further legal proceedings.
