Brandon Earl Presley, 30, a former football coach in Bixby Public Schools, was sentenced to 22 years in prison for sexual crimes against children. After his prison term, Presley will serve a lifetime of supervised release and must register as a sex offender.
Presley was arrested in March after a tip revealed he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old at a high school track meet on the University of Oklahoma campus. He was booked on second-degree rape charges at Cleveland County Jail.
Further investigation uncovered additional underage victims, including one Presley admitted to abusing in 2019, which had led to his dismissal as coach. Presley, a citizen of the Muscogee Creek Nation, faced federal charges.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma confirmed Presley’s conviction on two counts of sexual abuse of a minor in Indian Country, two counts of abusive sexual contact with a minor in Indian Country, and one count each of production and possession of child pornography.
U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson called Presley “a child predator who used his coaching role to groom minors through social media” and encouraged parents and teens to be aware of online dangers.
Presley remains in custody pending transfer to a federal prison.
