PALMYRA, N.Y. — A routine traffic stop in the Village of Palmyra resulted in the arrest of 26‑year‑old Bradley Garrow on two counts of Class E felony DWI, according to the Palmyra Police Department.
On July 12 at approximately 9:49 p.m., an officer noticed Garrow’s black pickup truck speeding on East Main Street with a loud, modified exhaust and following the vehicle ahead too closely before braking sharply near Cuyler Street. Garrow, from Macedon, was found intoxicated at the scene.
At the station, Garrow submitted to a breath test showing a 0.16% BAC, double New York’s legal limit. He faces charges of two felony DWIs—in light of a prior conviction within the last 10 years—as per Vehicle and Traffic Law Sections 1192(2) and (3). Additionally, he received five traffic tickets, including for tailgating and using a modified exhaust system.
Garrow has been released and is scheduled to appear in Palmyra court at a later date. According to law enforcement, these charges remain allegations until proven in court.
