Brad Ellwood, Deijah and Diallo Ester Arrested in Separate Texas Incidents

Brad Ellwood faces drug charges after high-speed chase; Deijah Ester arrested for theft

A dramatic chase in College Station ended with the arrest of 31-year-old Brad Ellwood of Bryan. The pursuit began on February 16 when Ellwood ran a stop sign and fled from police at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour on Highway 6. The chase ended in Hempstead after Ellwood’s SUV ran over spike strips, flattening the tires.

During the pursuit, shards of methamphetamine were discovered along the highway, and some were caught in Ellwood’s sweater. He faces charges related to the chase, drug possession, and evidence tampering after allegedly tossing the drugs out of the vehicle. Additionally, Ellwood had active warrants for two felony convictions and four misdemeanors, along with unpaid fines of $4,465. He remains in jail with a bond set at $200,000.

Deijah and Diallo Ester Arrested for Theft at Marshall’s Store
On Valentine’s Day, Bryan police responded to a theft report at Marshall’s, where Deijah Ester, 25, and Diallo Ester, 51, of Humble, Texas, were caught stealing over $2,300 in merchandise. Navasota police stopped the getaway vehicle within 30 minutes. Officers recovered the stolen items and discovered receipts showing credits from other stores for returned merchandise. Deijah Ester was arrested on charges of felony theft, and a warrant for her arrest in Harris County for a prior felony theft charge was also served. She remains in jail with bonds totaling $33,000. Diallo Ester was released after posting a bond of $8,000 for felony theft and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Domestic Violence Arrest in College Station
A College Station man, 28-year-old Ali Saber Sichani, was arrested on February 11, 2025, after an investigation into multiple domestic violence assaults on the same victim throughout 2023. Sichani allegedly assaulted the victim several times between September and December, including striking her with a closed fist and attempting to break her fingers. On February 10, he admitted to becoming upset when he perceived the victim was speaking to other men. Sichani was arrested for continuous violence against the victim and later released after posting a $10,000 bond.
