Boston, MA – A woman was arrested by Boston police in a sting operation after allegedly trafficking a 15-year-old girl for sex. Shakera “Stacks” Pina, 29, of Boston, was apprehended on April 9th following an investigation into an online advertisement that featured photos of the juvenile victim.
Undercover officers posed as sex buyers in response to the ad and arranged a meeting at a local hotel. When the victim arrived, police identified themselves as law enforcement officers. She was immediately taken to a hospital for evaluation and care.
Pina, who had been waiting outside the hotel, tried to flee in her vehicle when officers approached her, but she was arrested on the spot. She faces multiple charges, including human trafficking, deriving support from prostitution, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
