Bossier City Woman Killed in Shooting; La’Anthony Jeter Arrested

La’Anthony Jeter Charged with Second-Degree Murder in Death

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) — A young woman is dead after a shooting early Wednesday morning (March 26) in Bossier City, Louisiana.

According to Bossier City officials, the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Beverly Street, a neighborhood near Barksdale Boulevard and close to the base. Police found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her back. She was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead.

La’Anthony Malik Jeter was arrested in connection with the shooting. Authorities believe the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute. Jeter, 22, has been charged with second-degree murder, and his bond was set at $65,000.

The case remains under investigation as officials continue to gather details.
