WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Boshad Teiresias Lawson was taken into custody Monday evening following an incident that resulted in multiple criminal charges, according to the West Palm Beach Police Department.

Arrest records (Report No. 477351) show that Lawson, a Black male, was booked on charges of petit theft involving merchandise from a farm or transit operation, with the allegation including two or more prior convictions, which can elevate penalties under Florida law. He also faces charges of possession or use of drug equipment and resisting an officer with violence.

Authorities have not released specific details regarding the events leading up to the arrest. Lawson remains in custody as the investigation continues and the case moves forward through the judicial process.

West Palm Beach police emphasized the importance of compliance during law enforcement encounters and encouraged residents to report suspicious or criminal activity to help maintain public safety. Further information, including court dates and case updates, is expected to be released as it becomes available.

As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations, and Lawson is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
