The Bokaro police on Tuesday arrested a notorious thief, Bablu Ram, also known as Bhatia, near the court premises. The arrest was made following a special raid conducted by a team formed by SP Harvinder Singh.
Police recovered several items from the accused, including a laptop, charger, nine pairs of silver anklets weighing around one kilogram, and iron tools used for breaking locks.
The accused is believed to have been involved in multiple thefts in the area, and the recovered property is being verified against pending theft cases.
Officials confirmed that Bablu Ram has been taken into custody, and further investigations are underway to track his alleged accomplices.
