BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — On March 12, 2025, the Boise Police Department began investigating a theft incident reported by a business located on the 8300 block of West Overland Road.

The investigation revealed that a female suspect had stolen over $1,000 worth of merchandise by walking out of the store without paying. Despite an attempt by the store’s loss prevention team to stop the thief, the suspect fled the scene. Some of the stolen items were recovered, but not all of them were returned.

After further investigation, police identified the suspect as 40-year-old Sandra Juarez, also known as Sandra Lung, from Boise.

On Tuesday, Boise Police officers located Juarez and took her into custody. She was booked into the Ada County Jail and is facing charges of felony burglary and felony attempted grand theft.
