Boise, Idaho (CBS2) — Two Boise men were arrested following a violent theft and shooting incident at a business on the 6300 block of West Fairview Avenue late Saturday night.
According to Boise Police, 18-year-old Bailey Geesey entered the business and stole alcoholic beverages. When an employee confronted him, Geesey punched the employee, sparking a physical fight. Two other suspects—Junior Antonio Alvarodo Hernandez, 18, and a male juvenile—joined in the assault, repeatedly punching, kicking, and stomping the employee who was backed into a corner.
In self-defense, the employee fired a gun, hitting Alvarodo Hernandez. The suspects then fled the scene.
The injured employee was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police later located a vehicle matching the suspects’ description near North Curtis Road and West Irving Street. All three suspects were inside the vehicle. Geesey was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on charges of felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor commercial burglary. The juvenile was taken to the Ada County Juvenile Detention Center.
Alvarodo Hernandez was provided medical care for his gunshot wound before also being booked into the Ada County Jail for felony aggravated assault.
