Jaipur, October 17 – The Special Operations Group (SOG) has arrested two junior clerks, Ram Prakash Jat and Sunil Bishnoi, for using Bluetooth devices to cheat in the 2022 combined competitive exam for junior-level government posts.
According to ADG SOG V.K. Singh, both clerks fraudulently cleared the recruitment exam for Junior Judicial Assistants, Assistant Clerks Grade-II, and Clerks Grade-II, held on March 12 and 19, 2023, by the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur.
Ram Prakash Jat, a resident of Kuchera, Nagaur, took the exam at Vijay D. Suri Jain Vidyapeeth School, Nagaur.
Sunil Bishnoi, from Rawatsar, Hanumangarh, appeared at Nehru Memorial Children’s School, Hanumangarh.
SOG investigations revealed that a key suspect, Paurav Kaler from Chhapar, Churu district, supplied answers to the candidates in real time through Bluetooth devices hidden on their person. The setup, controlled from Salasar, reportedly cost Rs4 lakh per candidate.
Following the exam:
Ram Prakash Jat was appointed Junior Clerk (Grade-II) at POCSO Court No. 01, Udaipur, but had been absconding for 7 months.
Sunil Bishnoi was posted at the District and Sessions Court, Hanumangarh, and had been voluntarily absent for 6 months to dodge arrest.
Both were finally apprehended after extensive surveillance and tracking by the SOG.
Authorities are now interrogating the duo to uncover links to broader cheating networks and other beneficiaries of this Bluetooth-enabled exam fraud.
