Bittu and Shishpal Arrested for Rs 60K ATM Card Theft in Delhi

Two men caught withdrawing Rs 60,000 from snatched card

Delhi: Two men, Bittu (33) and Shishpal alias Leelu (35), both from Hisar, Haryana, were arrested for allegedly snatching a woman’s ATM card and withdrawing Rs 60,000 from her account in Delhi’s Bawana area.

The complaint was filed on October 3 by the woman resident of Bawana, reporting the theft of her ATM card and unauthorized withdrawals. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outernorth), Hareshwar Swami, stated that the police examined hundreds of CCTV cameras and traced the suspects’ movements from Delhi to Haryana using technical surveillance and local intelligence.

Following sustained efforts, both accused were apprehended. Police recovered Rs 20,000 from Bittu and Rs 25,000 from Shishpal. The victim’s ATM card and the motorcycle used in the crime were also seized.
