Birmingham, UK — Kenyjah James, a 25-year-old drug dealer, was sentenced to four years in prison on April 10 at Birmingham Crown Court after admitting to possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.
James was arrested on February 25, when officers from Operation Fearless were on patrol in Erdington. They responded to reports of a man damaging a gate in a car park, which led them to detain James and search the vehicle he was driving. During the search, officers recovered 190 wraps of cocaine and heroin, with an estimated street value of around £2,000.
Further investigations into James’s residence on Wilton Road uncovered more suspected Class A and Class B drugs.
James pleaded guilty to the charges, and was subsequently sentenced to four years in prison. The operation, which targets drug-related crimes in the West Midlands, continues to make significant progress in addressing local concerns about drug dealing.
Operation Fearless remains committed to identifying and prosecuting individuals involved in drug distribution across the region, with a focus on Erdington and other areas in need of intervention.
