OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Billy Brown was arrested on July 22, 2024, in northwest Oklahoma City following a five-month investigation into human trafficking by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN). The investigation, which began in February 2024, involved interviews with a potential victim of trafficking and led to Brown being identified as a suspect.
According to the OBN, Brown faces multiple charges, including Human Trafficking, Maintaining a House of Prostitution, Transporting a Person for Prostitution, and the Use of a Computer to Violate State Statutes. His arrest came after an Oklahoma County warrant was issued for his involvement in the trafficking operation.
“This case highlights the bravery of victims who come forward when they realize they are not alone,” said OBN officials.
The OBN encourages anyone who suspects human trafficking to anonymously report tips to their Human Trafficking Tip Line at 855-617-2288 or through the bureau’s social media channels.
