A joint operation by Bihar STF and Gujarat police led to the arrest of Naveen Kumar from Lakshisarai, Bihar, accused of unnatural sex and the murder of a girl in Surat.
Following the crime, Naveen fled by boarding a train to Bihar. Upon arrest, he was brought to Kotwali police station and subsequently taken to Surat by Gujarat police on transit remand for further investigation.
The police continue their inquiry into the case.
