The Bhavani Nagar Police successfully arrested four individuals involved in a Rs40 lakh robbery, recovering cash, vehicles, and other items from their possession.
The accused are:
Syed Irfan (30) – car driver
Mudassir Alahi (19) – Rapido driver
Mohd Zahid (37) – bangle business owner
Mohd Abdul Rahman (25) – furniture worker
According to police, Syed Irfan and Mudassir Alahi robbed the complainant on 30th November 2025 at 5:30 AM, seizing ₹40 lakh, a mobile phone, and a two-wheeler. The stolen money was reportedly shared among the four accused.
During the investigation, authorities used CCTV footage and UPI transaction trails to track down the suspects. The police team seized:
Cash: Rs34,66,000
Five cell phones
Five two-wheelers, including a Suzuki Burgman
Knife, sweater, and muffler
All four accused were arrested and presented before the court, where they were remanded. Police officials praised the quick response and coordinated effort of the team and announced rewards for their effective action.
