Bethany Roche Arrested for Car Theft in Fultonville

Fonda woman faces assault, larceny charges

Fultonville, N.Y. — Bethany Roche, 34, of Fonda, was arrested after allegedly stealing a car from the Riverside Motel in Fultonville and hitting a man in the motel’s parking lot during the incident, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The theft reportedly occurred early on November 7. Deputies located Roche with the stolen vehicle in Gloversville later that day.

Roche faces several charges, including:

3rd Degree Grand Larceny

2nd Degree Attempted Assault

3rd Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle

Other vehicle and traffic violations

She was arraigned in the Town of Glen Court and sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $500 cash bail.
