DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — A 70-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a boat and trailer in Rodanthe, North Carolina, according to the Dare County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 11, deputies responded to a report of a stolen boat and trailer from the Rodanthe area. Following an investigation, authorities identified a suspect and successfully recovered the stolen property.
Bernard L. Wilson was arrested and charged with felony larceny and felony possession of stolen property. He was issued a $5,000 unsecured bond.
The Dare County Sheriff’s Office has not released additional details but confirmed the case remains under investigation.
