Beaulaville Traffic Stop Leads to Arrests for Drug Possession and Intent to Sell

Crawford Morris and Christian Heath face multiple charges after arrest

Beaulaville, NC — On Wednesday, March 26, a traffic stop conducted by Beaulaville Police Officers resulted in the arrest of two individuals on drug-related charges. The stop occurred on Arthur Sumner Lane near South NC 41/111 Highway, where officers searched the vehicle and recovered several items of drug evidence, including 12.5 grams of methamphetamine, 1.5 grams of fentanyl, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

Following the search, Crawford Morris, a resident of Jacksonville, and Christian Heath, from Richlands, were arrested.

Charges and Bond Information
Crawford Morris is being held at Duplin County Jail with a $55,000 secured bond on the following charges:

Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver Schedule II controlled substances

Felony possession of Schedule II controlled substances (methamphetamine)

Felony possession of Schedule II controlled substances (crack cocaine)

Maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Christian Heath is facing the following charges and is being held at Duplin County Jail with a $25,000 secured bond:

Felony possession of Schedule II controlled substances (methamphetamine)

Felony possession of Schedule II controlled substances (fentanyl)

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Chief Mobley of Beaulaville expressed appreciation for the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the investigation and arrest during this traffic stop.
