BAYONNE, NJ — A man and woman were arrested by the Bayonne Police Department on January 14, 2025, after attempting to conduct fraudulent transactions at TD Bank, Bayonne Police Chief Robert Geisler reported.
At 11:46 a.m., police responded to a call at the bank, identifying Allen Varice, 28, of Hillside, and Tyquana Reed, 24, of East Orange, as the suspects. Both individuals were found in possession of several fraudulent documents and credit cards.
Varice was arrested and transported to the Hudson County Corrections and Rehabilitation Center. He faces multiple charges, including possession of a false ID, credit card theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, wrongful impersonation (twice), conspiracy, and contempt for an active warrant issued by the Essex County Sheriff’s Office.
Reed was also arrested but released on a summons. She is facing similar charges, including possession of a false ID, fraudulent use of a credit card, wrongful impersonation (twice), and conspiracy.
The investigation continues as authorities work to uncover further details about their alleged activities.
