Authorities in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, have arrested four individuals in connection with a large-scale drug trafficking operation that was dismantled following an extensive investigation. The operation targeted an 18-year-old woman, her father, and several other suspects accused of distributing dangerous narcotics, including fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other drugs.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests of Keishira Lindsey, 18, Keishimie Lindsey, 20, Karita Lindsey, 42, and Clifford Williams, 64, on February 13. The investigation also led to the issuance of an arrest warrant for Clifton Earl, 43, who fled when authorities attempted to serve a search warrant.
The investigation began in January 2025 when authorities started looking into Keishira Lindsey and her father, Clifton Earl, who had previously been known to law enforcement. According to the sheriff’s office, Keishira had been distributing large quantities of Tapendatol tablets throughout Baton Rouge. Earl, who is on federal probation, was identified as a key player in a broader polydrug trafficking operation in the area.
Authorities also uncovered video and communication evidence suggesting that the trafficking network used several locations throughout Baton Rouge, as well as a site in Ascension Parish, to store and distribute narcotics. Following extensive surveillance, deputies executed search warrants at multiple locations, seizing large quantities of illicit substances and firearms.
Among the seized items were approximately 3,220 lethal doses of fentanyl, over 4 pounds of methamphetamine, nearly 15 ounces of cocaine, and over 7 pounds of marijuana. In addition to the drugs, law enforcement seized $92,668 in cash, drug paraphernalia, and firearms including a revolver, rifle, and shotgun.
The following charges were levied against the arrested individuals:
Keishira Lindsey: Possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, ethylbuphedrone, Tapendatol, Clonazepam, and operating a fentanyl lab.
Keishimie Lindsey: Possession with intent to distribute Tapendatol.
Karita Lindsey: Possession with intent to distribute Tapendatol.
Clifford Williams: Possession with intent to distribute Tapendatol, illegal firearm possession with drugs.
Clifton Earl: Outstanding arrest warrant for multiple drug trafficking charges and operating a clandestine fentanyl lab.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are working to track down additional suspects connected to the operation.
