CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A 32-year-old sales representative from Balanga City, Bataan, was arrested on September 25, 2025, after admitting to fabricating a robbery report to conceal the theft of ₱195,274 from her employer.

The woman, employed as a Field Sales Representative for Mix Market Integrated Xploration Corp based in San Fernando, Pampanga, initially claimed she was robbed at gunpoint by motorcycle-riding suspects along Gov. Pascual Road in Barangay Tugatog, Orani. She reported the theft of ₱195,274 in cash.

However, a police investigation including CCTV footage review found no evidence to support her story. During a follow-up interview, she confessed to creating the false report to hide that she used the money to pay off personal debts.

Provincial Director PCol Marites Salvadora confirmed the suspect is currently in custody at the Orani Municipal Police Station, facing charges of perjury and qualified theft. Salvadora stressed the police’s commitment to uphold the law and maintain security in Bataan.
